Starting at 20th of December 2010 Austrian airlines long haul flight customers can now purchase a seat next to the emergency exit and benefit from having more legroom on your Economy Class flight- before your departure, reserve yourself a seat in the emergency exit row at Austrian Web check-in for only 70 euros per flight.
For this purpose our customers can use the Austrian Web Check-in from 24 hours before departure, payment carried out via creditcard. This service is available immediately to all Austrian customers who fulfil the necessary requirements for passengers travelling in these seats. (That is persons over 15, without any disability, without travelling with an infant up to 2 years and who are not travelling with animals in the cabin).
Pimp your Economy Class Ticket
Austrian Airlines has introduced different additional services over the past months which have made travelling more pleasant for their economy class passengers. Passengers can grant themselves access to the Austrian business class lounge in Vienna for 35 euros per person. In the lounge, they can enjoy a wide range of meals and beverages from DO&CO, free WLAN connection, Internet access, national and international newspapers and TV.
In addition, economy class passengers can buy a business class upgrade at short notice – even hours before their flight.
All three offers – the exit row seat, the lounge access and the business class upgrade - are bookable when using the web-Check-in tool at www.austrian.com.
