which month do Airlines Raise airfares

What month has the lowest airfare rates depends on what airline you fly (as they all vary in price), and of course on the country you're hoping to fly to. But here are a few general tips:

Airlines Raise airfares to europe in the summer months, from the beginning of July to the end of September.because it is the busiest time period. Also it is far away and prices tend to be on the high side 4+ months in advance, but with summer being so busy the airline is usually on the dot. Wait until 6 weeks before you want to go to buy your ticket. Buy it with more than 28 days in advance to get the usually "best" price.

Another tip: It is usually cheaper to fly into Germany, Belgium, Austria, Spain, etc.. instead of France, UK, or Italy. They do not get as many tourist compared to those 3 European countries. If you intend to travel around Europe and visit several countries, fly into one of the less busy European countries instead and start your vacation from there.

1) The cheapest airfares are usually sold in the winter months, or going onto spring - as long as you're not trying to fly to a country that's big on snow resorts, of course!!

2) Choose your airline carefully, as different airlines usually have price differences ranging between sometimes 1000's of $.

3) DO NOT book through a travel agent, as they ask for commission, so you're automatically paying them extra, on top of the actual fare price! For cheapest bookings, go to the airline's website, and search their 'specials'. They often tell you on the website what month would have the cheapest fares available.

4) Try to fly at unconventional times - such as 2 am, or 11pm. You may be paying $100s more if you fly at peak-hour, which is usually 5am - 9pm.
